Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 30, 2026

Uma Matcha LLC ("Uma Matcha," "we," "us") is a wholesale matcha supplier based in St. Petersburg, Florida. This policy explains what information we collect through umamatcha.com and related pages (the "Site"), how we use it, and the choices you have. We do not sell your personal information.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you submit an inquiry, book a meeting, request samples, apply for an account, or log in to our customer portal, we may collect:

  • Name, job title, and business name (including legal entity and DBA)

  • Business email, phone number, and shipping or delivery address

  • Order details, product preferences, and messages you send us

  • Account and credit-application information, such as trade references and billing contacts

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our Site and its hosting platform (Wix) automatically collect basic technical data: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, referring pages, and approximate location. This is gathered through cookies and similar technologies.

Payment information. We do not store full card or bank account numbers on our Site. Payments are handled by our payment processor or by invoice, under that provider's own security and privacy terms.

2. How we use your information

  • To respond to inquiries and schedule meetings

  • To prepare quotes, process orders, deliver product, and send invoices

  • To manage your wholesale account and portal access

  • To evaluate credit applications

  • To provide lot, Certificate of Analysis (COA), and recall information about products you purchased

  • To send occasional business updates, which you can opt out of at any time

  • To maintain Site security, prevent fraud, and improve the Site

  • To comply with legal, tax, and food-safety recordkeeping obligations

3. How we share your information

We share information only as needed to run our business:

  • Service providers that host our Site, email, scheduling, payments, and accounting (for example, Wix and Google Workspace), bound to use it only to provide their services

  • Delivery carriers, who receive the name, address, and phone needed to deliver your order

  • Legal and safety, when required by law, to respond to a lawful request, or to protect our rights, customers, or the public (including product recalls)

  • Business transfers, if Uma Matcha is merged, acquired, or sells its assets

We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for third-party advertising.

4. Cookies

We and our hosting provider use cookies that are necessary for the Site and portal to work, plus analytics cookies to understand how the Site is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some features, such as portal login, may not work without them.

5. Data retention

We keep account, order, and invoice records for as long as your account is active and for the period required for tax, accounting, and food-traceability purposes. Inquiries that do not lead to an account are deleted when no longer needed.

6. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including secure hosting and access-controlled accounts. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your choices

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop sending you business updates. Email hello@umamatcha.com. We will respond within a reasonable time, and may need to keep certain records that the law requires us to retain.

8. Children

Our Site is for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Third-party links

Our Site may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows when it last changed.
